It is a Non- Banking Financial Service Company which focuses on lending to Small Business Owners. There are 57 MN Small Business Owners in India who are still un-served by Financial Institutions. We believe that using Technology and Machine Learning we will be able to serve this largely untapped market segment. It is a tech driven lending entity registered as an NBFC with Reserve Bank of India(RBI). Purpose:

The candidate shall be responsible for risk modeling, credit scoring, fraud detection, causal analysis and pattern recognition at ZipLoan, a Delhi based fintech startup(NBFC) in the MSME lending space.

Job Details:

- The creations of new models and capabilities that will Drive leapfrog traditional Bureau based modeling done at most major financial institutions leveraging a wide array of data from both traditional and non-traditional sources.

- Acquire deep understanding of MSME lending domain

- Perform data integration, manipulation, and querying for purposes of reporting and more sophisticated analytics

- Engage in regular problem-solving sessions with the overall leadership team to present findings and refine their own analytics plan.

- Manage data analysis to develop fact-based recommendations for innovation projects.

- Big Data and other unstructured data to tap untouched data Mine sources and deliver insight into new and emerging solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

- B.Tech/Masters from Tier 1/Tier2 institutes (IIT/NIT/BITS) from BE / (is preferred )in Applied Math, Statistics, Engineering, Machine Learning or equivalent Background in credit risk and finance.

- Good years of experience in modeling, machine learning and 3-5 predictive analytics with experience working with unstructured data

- Knowledge of Tools like R, Python, Tableau, Spark, Hadoop, Scala, MongoDB, SQL, Hive, Excel

- Experience in NLP and network analysis

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to design algorithms, which may include data cleaning, data mining, data clustering and pattern recognition methodologies

- Experience designing and implementing Big Data solutions

- Ability to use a hands on approach to integrating math, algorithms, and an understanding of human behavior to answer difficult ad-hoc human questions

- Ability to rapidly prototype solutions by combing background in computer science with statistics to derive insights from populations of information creativity, tenacity, curiosity, and passion for deep technical
