Job Title - Data Architect

Location - Kochi-Infopark, Kerala

Summary

- An exciting opportunity to work for one of the industry’s leading marketing attribution providers according to Forrester Research. A Data Architect foresees the requirements and makes sure that the projects designed can handle most of the requirements for a future prospective client. A Data Architect also maintains data models in such a way that in case of additional custom requirements from individual clients, the enhancements could be made with minimal extra effort and the overall client base could be handled by a team as small as possible.

Responsibilities

- Designs, develops analytical reporting projects as products which can serve many clients instead of custom data warehouses for specific clients.

- Provides consultation whenever a team member demands solution for a technical problem.

- Defines and enforces standards for database object names.

Qualifications

- B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent from prominent firms. The candidate needs to be strong in academics.

- Maximum 8 years of relevant experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.

- Strong hands on experience in PL/SQL, open source ETL and BI tools, schedulers, scripting languages like shell, perl etc.

- Experience with DB architectures such as columnar DBs, shared nothing architecture and cloud computing. Experience with at least one among the following Databases-Netezza, Exadata, Vertica, Hadoop.

- Experience in ELT processes and open source tools such as Talend, especially with custom built ELT frameworks and schedulers.

- Experience with OLAP servers, Business Intelligence tools, SQL Loader etc.

- Experience in data profiling, integrating disparate data sets from heterogeneous environments with strong debugging skills.

- Experience in tuning and optimizing the performance of large scale OLAP databases.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills.

- Experience and strong aptitude in leading and developing generalized

- Experience in cookie data analysis, social analytics etc are preferred.
