- Ensure 100% available and deployable security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.

- Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard Organization's critical IT infrastructure.

- Compliance of 100 % available and enforceable security configuration of all security devices

- Zero incidence arising out of security failure.

Overview: Role Summary (report to CIO)

- Monitoring company's IT assets for potential breaches of security.

- In the event of a security breach, gathering data to be used as evidence for legal proceedings.

- Responsible for assisting in the coordination effort to remediate security alerts and respond to information security related incidents.

- Assess Network related risks and plan for mitigation

- Provide guidance on IT security in view of latest technology trends and innovations.

- Updating and installing effective software to prevent security breaches.

- Secure solution design for protecting against external and internal threats

- Filtering and tuning of sensors sensor policies to prevent malware and network breaches are key success measures

- Analyzes and responds to security events/alerts/intrusion.

- Provides technical support for activities that improves the security posture

- Monitoring the access and control points of sensitive data within the computers in order to keep a company's data safe

Experience & Key Competencies required:

- 10-15 years of IT / IT Security work experience

- 4-5 years of experience specific in cyber security / defence industry.

- Exposure to various types of Log analysis tools.

- Exposure to Ethical hacking, Usage of tools like Wire-Shark, Ethereal, Nessus

- Good Understanding of Wi-Fi Security

- Knowledge about Information Security Policies, ISO27001, Network Protocols, Routers, Hubs, and Switches.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Positive Attitude and Self-Driven personality

Education Criteria:

- B.E./B.Tech/ MBA

- Certifications preferred : CCNP, CISSP, CEH, MCSE, CCNA, CISSP, SANS/GIA
