Job Title: Assistant Manager-Communication  Function /Division: Communication  Location: Mumbai  Your Challenge:   CRY - Child Rights and You is an Indian NGO that believes in every child's right to a childhood - to live, learn, grow and play. For over 30 years, CRY and its 200 partner NGOs have worked with parents and communities to ensure Lasting Change in the lives of more than 2,000,000 underprivileged children, across 23 states in India.  Your Role:   You will be responsible for assisting the Communications Team in planning, managing and implementing CRY's Communication strategies and objectives for the Overseas portfolio.   Your role will comprise leveraging the different media, communication tools - online and offline platforms - for building awareness about the brand CRY and its work with/for children and their rights in these regions. You will need to implement the set communication objectives by identifying and liaising with external agencies and vendors to meet service level agreements and ensure quality of services.   Managing the operations and coordinating its processes; measuring the performance of the implemented plans along with following budget norms will be an essential aspect of the role. As a member of the Communications function, you will act as a brand custodian and ensure that all brand guidelines and communication SOPs are adhered to. In addition, you will provide support to the Communications team at CRY.   Increasing CRY's brand visibility and creating awareness and positioning CRY as a voice of authority on child rights in the region, will be a critical factor of this role.  You:   You must be a Graduate/Post Graduate in Marketing/ Brand Communications or Mass Communications with 3 to 4 years experience in a brand communications role in a mid-sized organization. Strong understanding of communications and brand & marketing concepts and its operations; media and communication tools/ formats; along with excellent written and oral communication skills in English is essential. Initiative, ability to learn and thoroughness along with an innate drive to explore communication opportunities would be required to fulfill the role.  Over the last 33 years CRY has reached out to more than 20 lakh children.
