Head of Technology (Director)
Job Role :
- The Head of Technology works with senior leadership, sales, operations, technology teams and partners to distill technical product vision into executable projects balancing near-term imperatives with long-term needs.
- Successful candidate will synthesize and drive the technology goals for the existing and future systems by conducting research, establishing and communicating a system vision, and partnering with internal stakeholders to create and execute development plans.
- The candidate will provide thought leadership on evolving technology trends and devise forward looking strategies helping the company stay abreast with the latest technology trends in the Market Research industry.
- The ideal candidate is expected to have broad knowledge that includes development and delivery of enterprise grade software systems, maintenance of SLA driven mission critical operations systems and web/mobile applications with large number of users.
- The candidate will oversee the technology team that comprises the delivery lead, product manager and other technical staff.
- The incumbent will need to work with the product manager and the marketing team to devise a go-to-market strategy and drive revenue generating product lines.
Specific Responsibilities :

- Design and control strategy for developing technology solutions that support the business vision of Cross-Tab.
- Design, implement and scale existing systems in the ctOS suite of products
- Operate cross-functionally and interact with internal and external clients to create technology roadmap and operational strategy
- Translate leadership's strategy into practical, viable technology solutions that drive operational efficiency and revenue.
- Work closely with Delivery Leads, Software Developers, QA testers, IT Operations and IT vendors to coordinate solution delivery.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams and contribute to the strengthening of general and product specific proposals and collaterals.
- Conduct client demos, webinars and other product awareness sessions in collaboration with the product manager
- Meet and interact with clients and prospects to drive client engagement, technology consulting and product feedback loop.
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities :
- Engineering degree in Computer science or IT along with an MBA in systems or equivalent experience preferred
- 12+ years of experience in professional software product development, with 2-4 years in a product, project, or engineering leadership role
- Experience with multiple full project lifecycles, from concept to delivery
- Experience with Agile and waterfall Software Development processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
