ONLY LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES CURRENTLY IN UK WHO CAN WORK WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP  Job Description  We are searching for a Project Manager to coordinate fieldwork and eventually consult with internal clients on both potential and confirmed projects.   - This position is on the operations side of the company, and is not client-facing.  - The position would be on a contract basis with a minimum commitment of 9 months and maximum commitment of 15 months.  - Initial responsibilities include, but will not be limited to: requesting costs from vendors, managing internal approval processes, handling correspondence between ABC project managers and vendors, reconciling invoices, and sending documents off for translation.   - Eventually, the candidate will be expected to consult with ABC project managers on a larger scale and give a big picture understanding of the pros, cons, prospective problems and timely solutions for potential and confirmed projects.   Candidate Characteristics:  - Our ideal candidate has an understanding and passion for the inner workings of the research world and ideally has some experience working on the supplier side conducting market research.  - He or she will develop a more global understanding of research, but will also learn to appreciate the more granular details of every job than can make or break a great research project.   - To be successful in this position, applicants will need to show excellent communication and problem solving skills, an ability to learn quickly, exceptional attention to detail and a self-driven desire to succeed.   - He or she will need to be meticulous about the accuracy of their work and take pride in a job well done.  - This individual will need to show a strong work ethic and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous complex and simultaneous studies.   - Being able to multi-task, manage time well, work with little supervision and manage stress is a must.   In addition, candidates must possess:  - Bachelors Degree   - Prior knowledge of and interest in global affairs   - Prior experience with the supplier side of market research for one year or more  - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Power Point
