Associate Director - Advanced and Predictive Analytics  Job Description Sheet  Job title : Associate Director - Advanced and Predictive Analytics  Location : Pune/Mumbai  Experience : 6 - 8 years  Job Duties :   - Translate high level business requirements/problems into sound and comprehensive analytical framework through appropriate usage of advanced statistical / mathematical techniques and responsible for successful delivery of the solutions   - Solve business problems through usage of appropriate statistical techniques (predictive and descriptive) like multinomial linear and nonlinear regression, time series, hierarchical regression, Bayesian analytics, segmentation, clustering, decision trees, ANOVA/ ANCOVA, Random forest, correlation, structural equation modeling, Markov Chain, MCMC, ANN, optimization etc.  - Collaboratively define key business problem to be solved, formulate approaches and gather data to solve the problem  - Lead engagement planning and budgeting, mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk  - Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies  - Perform role of mentor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and senior management  Qualification : M. Tech/ Master in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Operations Research or other Quantitative Discipline  Skills Required :   - Prior experience in Marketing and Sales analytics  - Extensive experience in advanced statistics, data mining and algorithms  - Working knowledge of CRM systems like Siebel, Salesforce is a plus  - Well versed with techniques like linear and non-linear regression, Bayesian Analytics, Segmentation, Machine Learning (Artificial Neural Networks, Random forest, Gradient Boosting, SVM, MCMC), Decision trees, Hidden Marcov models, sentiment analysis etc.  - Experience in handling, massaging and analyzing big data including unstructured or semi-structured data, non-relational data  - Understanding of online/ digital marketing and handling of click-stream data is a plus  - Expertise in R/ SPSS/ Alteryx/ SQL  - Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, analytical acumen, creativity, and a proven work ethics  - Strong project management and client management capabilities; ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments simultaneously without sacrificing quality or impacting deadlines  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
