This is for the SME cluster requirement, we are now looking at candidates with a RM/BD kind of background, but who are keen to look at a role which requires extensive market interactions as well as analysis.   - This role is essentially 60% interactions and 40% analysis. Analysts will have to work from home but will have to travel extensively within the assigned region.  Locations to recruit analysts : Coimbatore( RA/SRA) - 2-5 Yrs of exp mostly in relationship management or Business development.   Details are as follows :  Brief overview of proposed product offering :   - Deep dive assessment of SMEs in a particular geographic area  - Provide Insights, data, tools and regular updates to help financiers decipher the business potential and financial health of SMEs in various geographic areas (equivalent to a district)  Job description :  - Ability to analyse the opportunity in and risk involved in financing SMEs across sectors in geographic areas assigned  - Ability to assess industry and geographical dynamics from all relevant angles (demand-supply, input-related risks, profitability, investments, regulation, competitive landscape etc.)  - Extensive secondary and primary research for obtaining relevant inputs  - Ability to independently undertake intensive interactions with market participants for sourcing critical information  - Willingness to travel for industry interaction and build network of sources in critical areas  - Ability to form hypothesis, validate assumptions, test based on data gathered and write a cogent and logical report  - Sound knowledge of various banking industry products relevant to SMEs  - Local market knowledge and language understanding is a pre-requisite  Preferred Skills :  Employees with previous experience of ~2 years in RM side for SME lending of banks :   - Ability to connect with and undertake extensive interactions with market participants  - Strong analytical skills with good awareness about Indian economy and business environment   - Aptitude for business research  - Ability to think out of the box and come out with innovative solutions/ideas  - Ability to structure and write high-quality reports   - Strong ppt and excel skills  - Excellent oral communication and presentation skills (local language knowledge a pre requisite)  - Positive attitude and ability to work across teams within tight deadlines
