Creditexchange is India's only regulatory compliant, hybrid consumer loans marketplace for institutional investors. Through our platform, consumers with a widerange of credit profiles and histories, including first time borrowers, will getaccess to convenient, flexible and cheaper personal loans. Institutional investors will be able to seamlessly co-invest, along with Creditexchange, in hundreds or even thousands of these loans with attractive risk-adjusted yields through optimum diversification.  Creditexchange is being developed in partnership with LendFoundry, a market-leader in the development of technology stacks for alternative lending companies in North America. The platform will allow Creditexchange to offer real-time, dynamic funding decisions to borrowers, and investors with aconvenient, transparent, and secure portal through which they can seamlessly co-invest in loans.  The AVP - Collections will be responsible for outlining and developing the collections strategy for Creditexchange's lending business. The individual will be required to develop the internal collections mechanisms, alongside developing third party relationships where required, including:  - Developing a collections strategy / framework for the retail lending business  - Identifying, evaluating and entering into relationships with third parties for collections, where required  - Engage borrowers with the highest level of respect and dignity  - Work cooperatively and conversationally with borrowers to resolve delinquencies  - Determine the reason for delinquency and best course of action to assist borrowers  - Document all collection efforts for each assigned account in accordance with established procedures and compliance policies  The candidate will:  - Have 5+ years of experience in retail collections with a collection agency, established NBFC or Bank  - Have a good understanding of the various collections solutions available, and the relative costs / benefits  - Understand the regulations governing collections practices in India  - Be energetic, highly motivated person interested in building relationships  - Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
