Business Summary:
Group Finance is recruiting a Process Improvement Analyst to join the Process, Tools and Metrics (PTM) team within the Group Finance Information Center.
- The primary objective of this role is to support the reengineering and continuous improvement efforts of GF's planning & analysis processes, by contributing to and leading specific process or technology based initiatives.
- This role will enable the right candidate to display and develop advanced project management and process design skills while utilizing subject matter expertise in the field of financial planning & reporting, as well as regulatory matters such as capital stress testing and legal entity accounting.
Responsibilities:
Manage and own the delivery and execution of Group Finance improvement projects through:
- Analysis of current process activities and performance to identify areas of improvement opportunities
- Assess the benefits of delivering process improvements and provide recommendations on priority of delivery
- Development of detailed business requirements that will be translated into process or technical specifications and solutions through the frequent interaction with business line SMEs and IT
- Act as a key contributor to development of strategic Group Finance solutions
- Provide test management and executions for process and technology solutions to ensure that they meet business requirements
- Manage the communication, training and roll out of solutions to business users
- Closely collaborate with Group Finance process management team to ensure appropriate process documentation is completed
- Engage with key stakeholders in the business and with IT throughout the lifecycle of an initiative
Key Skills Required:
- 3-9 years of professional experience, including 2+ years of project management experience
- Experience in performing an accounting, planning or financial reporting role is an advantage
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge and experience in process analysis, documentation and improvement methodologies; process management or Sigma / Lean qualifications a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently as well as within a team composed of colleagues based locally and internationally
- Able to work under pressure and multi-task across many initiatives
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint and Access (preferred)
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools and techniques (nice to have)
- Knowledge of SharePoint (nice to have)
- University degree or equivalent (preferably in Math, Accounting, Economics or related field))
