Job Profile: Credit Manager-Agri SME
Job Responsibilities
As part of Credit team for Agri SME/Mid Finance, the primary job of the credit manager is to understand:
- The business dynamics,
- Products on offer,
- Various segments to whom we lend
- Ensuring discipline in adherence to processes involved in credit buying
- Underwriting & making proposals of SME loans and other products as per location requirement manage the credit processing agent's activities
- Ensure systematic verification processes and coordinate with verification agencies
- Be up to date on industries we lend and business environment in general,
- Take appropriate credit decision,
- Monitor the portfolio sourced,
- Understand and interpret the portfolio quality
- Interact with sourcing agents
- Co-ordinate with internal and external auditors
Qualification - CA/MBA Finance with relevant underwriting experience-
Job Knowledge -
- Good understanding of economy and implications of economic policies, dynamics of international economic events on the Indian economy, industry, and segments, understanding of functioning various industries/segments - cost matrix, competitors, laws applicable o good understanding of financials to arrive at a decision on lending and recoverability of loans granted.
- Skills & Experience - Ability to analyze news, information, change in laws, financial data and assess its future impact on the business of the loan applicant, segment/industry in which the applicant function, a segment in which we operate. Generally strong analytical and futuristic intuitive skills are the need of the job
