- This is for a San Francisco based startup client looking at setting up India Operations. They are on a mission to transform the world of apps and data by helping companies better understand their mobile users.
- It provides mobile measurement & user intelligence solutions for enterprise marketers, allowing them to effectively measure marketing efforts and understand user retention & engagement, lifetime value, and other unique business metrics. App marketers can optimize their acquisition efforts, identify their most valuable users, segment high-performing audiences for re-engagement & look-alike modeling, and integrate mobile into their larger CRM efforts.
- The Country manager, India is responsible for the overall management of the territory, acquisition of new accounts that will make a contribution to revenue growth and retention.
- The position will have a top priority on driving new platform customers with a focus on targeting the top 100 mobile advertisers in India and South-East Asia.
Responsibilities include :
- This is a quota carry position plus overall management responsibilities (dual responsibilities to start)
- Target the top 100 mobile app advertisers in India and SouthEast Asia
- Target brands in eCommerce, travel, and financial services
- Developed close relationships & partnerships with Facebook, Twitter, Google, Apple, Facebook PMDs, agencies, and various mobile ad networks in India
- Dotted line Manage all employees in the Bangalore office
- Working with the management team on developing all business opportunities that are strategic from a revenue perspective or complex in nature, or which require high-level complex selling skills
- Managing status reporting and analytical procedures to provide management with a comprehensive perspective on the effectiveness of account development via the use of salesforce.com
- Ensuring efficient and timely communication with prospects, and customers relative to promotions, new products and services, and other marketing and sales activities
Qualifications include :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing
Technical or Special Knowledge : Knowledge of sales, marketing technology, mobile, media, SaaS models, international, etc.
Experience :
- Strong presentation skills, 7+ years sales experience, sales management, proven track record of success closing large accounts, and experience with mobile, online advertising, and ad-technology.
