Description - Excellent opportunity to lead the India Country Sourcing Operations for a global retail company
Client Details :
Our client is a global retail company with operations across the world. They are recognized for their innovative product portfolio, and offer a wide range of products across multiple categories. The client has established Sourcing/Buying offices across the APAC market, which focuses on developing relationships with local vendors to deliver high quality products for the company. They are currently looking to recruit a Country Manager - India, based out of their office in Delhi NCR.
Description :
Reporting to the Regional APAC Head, you will be responsible for :
- Managing India Country Operations for the company
- Developing and implementing the annual plans for the region, and ensure that it is in line with overall company objectives
- Managing a team of professionals across merchandisers, technicians and QA
- Ensuring that the India Country Operations are compliant with local laws
Profile :
You will be a post graduate with around 10-15 years of experience in Retail Sourcing, Procurement and Vendor Management roles. Prior experience of managing apparel as a category of products is also required. The client is looking for someone with excellent communication/interpersonal skills, and a strong business acumen.
Job Offer :
