Purpose of the job

Define the financial policy, direction and plan of the Production Site, steer and control the execution of this policy and plan and safeguard the realization of this plan by managing, monitoring and controlling the financial processes of the Site, within the Group/BU strategy, the DSP and BU F&C policies and the company requirements and guidelines.

To lead the site finance team to achieve highest levels of controlling the operations aspect of production and purchasing.

To be an active member of Site Management Team.

To facilitate financial planning and budgeting and put in place information requirements or the business and meeting needs of internal and external control.

To lead the project controlling for new projects. The job requires frequent interaction with Business Partner/Toller in order to built up a healthy relationship which felicitates smooth flow of information and exercise better controls

The person supports Project Director and Project Manager in building up effective business models.

Job Context

The job has a context that the business situation is dynamic and extremely competitive. From corporate governance point of view controls have to be implemented and operational. The key to survival in business is to ensure that completion has to outsmart by adopting a dynamic approach and continuously working on improvements in cost and productivity The finance and control function has to constantly upgrade their skills and keep them updated to meet the business requirements and achieve cost leadership and implement controls.

We need to continuously maintain the cost at the minimum level and also implement new tools to increase productivity. Site is lead by Site Management Team and the Site Controller plays a critical role in the SMT not just to support in key decision making but also act as challenger.

The other pillar of achieving the AMEA vision 2017 is moving up the value chain through new projects and other key projects. For the success of these projects, Project controlling plays a very critical role. To ensure smooth execution of the project and success in the business it requires effective controlling, building up performance monitoring system, help business understand the financial implications of various decisions, setting up the business model, put up the right system in place.
