- Prepare RFPs, RFQs, PQ documents in line with the Project Brief.   - Vendor evaluation, Assessing competitive tenders received, making recommendations.  - Prepare Contract Documentation including Bills of Quantities, Schedules of Works, Specifications ensuring that these comply with the project brief and timescale, budget estimates, all regulations and policies.  - Prepare Preliminary Estimates, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and Budgets in coordination with Planning, Quantity Surveying and Design and Execution Teams.  - Drafting of Contracts on the basis of nature of work.  - Checking out quantities and preparing tender documents like conditions of contract, contract scope, specifications in consultation with the Manager and Architects.  - Managing the bidding process from floating of bids to awarding of contracts and signing of agreement  - Ensuring that competent bidders are selected for various tenders, & carrying out commercial evaluation and negotiations if required.  - Preparing all tender board submissions, like approval of bidder list, technical rejections, award, time extensions, amendments to agreements / variations, etc.  - Preparing & issuing work order / purchase order to the contractor / vendor.  - Coordinating with external agencies for techno-commercial negotiations, preparation of tender / contract documents, cost estimates, rate analysis, variation / deviation proposals, etc.  - Resolving contractual issues by conducting meeting at site with the concerned department/stake holders and minimise delay/work hold ups.  - Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects.  - As needed, provide guidance on contract matters to project managers or other operational staff, including training to new project managers and other employees in contracting practices and procedures.   - Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy. As appropriate, contribute to or influence company policies.   - Monitor and track projects for all project oriented procurement & related central procurement activities.  - Monitoring schedule of work, fixing targets and keeping track of delays using MS project or any project monitoring software.  Qualification and experience:  - Degree in Engineering  - 5 years of experience in contract management in construction projects.
