Consultant/Sr Consultant - SAP EWM/WM

EWM Functional Consutant /Sr.Consultant atleast 4-5 yrs in EWM /WM space ;at least 1 full lifecycle EWM Project Experience

Requirements

- Strong warehouse and Logistics Business Process Knowledge and experience

- Full understanding of the benefits which an organization can leverage from implementing a fully integrated WM/eWM solution

- Must have basic functional knowledge of WM, IM, MM, and eWM

- 4-5 years of experience in full lifecycle implementation of SAP WM/EWM space

- At least 1 full cycle implementations of WM or eWM

- Experience in yard management, labor management, cross-docking and slotting.

- Knowledge of integration between SAP modules including capabilities, limitations & best practices

- Ability to prepare complete functional specifications based on end user requirements

- Experience on CIF and knowledge of interfacing to 3rd party software using IDOC’s or BAPI’s

- Experience in setting up master data elements in a manner to best meet the business requirements

- Experience of integration to GIS, Document management, CAD and mobile device technologies.

- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline or equivalent business/technical process work experience.

- Must possess leadership, organizational, communication and time management skills.

- Must practice effective listening skills and effective collaboration skills.

- Good presentation skills and meeting leadership and facilities skills.

Tasks

- Configure SAP SCM eWM for each facility including facility layout, master data, yard management and slotting/rearrangement.

- Prepare functional specifications for development work.

- Conduct functional testing to ensure accurate configuration and development.

- Prepare process flows and training documents to teach SAP SCM eWM to business users.

- Organize and coordinate integration testing scenarios to user community.

- Support on-going operations.

- Develop / maintain interfaces that utilize XI, iDoc and CIF functionality.

- Improve upon current processes or new business functionality including cross-docking, inspection documents and task interleaving.

- Review, implement and write OSS notes to SAP.

- Perform support pack and release upgrades as necessary.

- Work with a virtual team of people from application, technology and business teams.

- Interact with non-information technology business/technical areas to help prioritize enhancements.
