CONSULTANT (BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ROLE)

Position Description:

Achieve targeted revenue goal through a combination of selling and renewing core delivery services.

Responsibilities:

- Business Development activities for identifying and generating new clients and business in designated territory

- Achieving business growth and market development across cross section of industries by making corporate presentations to top management and explaining the concept to them (Concept selling), searching for new business opportunities, new channels

- Assist Sr. Consultant / Practice leader in providing solutions pertaining to Recruitment, Succession Planning, Career Planning, Restructuring, Training and assessments (Core Delivery Areas) after understanding the business needs of the client

- Handling queries, doubts from clients and help them successfully use the Thomas Systems in their companies

- Co-coordinating training programmes

- Creating reports and client presentations based on analysis of data collected during interactions with the clients

Key Characteristics:

- Excellent selling and sales strategy skills, including the ability to close opportunities

Skills & Knowledge:

- Proficiency in power point and spreadsheets is essential.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Conceptual / analytical skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work in unstructured environments

- Internal locus of control (Having a can do Attitude)

- Ability to determine what is a good business opportunity for the organization

- Team working skills

- Ability to handle clients at a senior level

- Learning orientation

- Ability to sell value (Concepts)

Education Qualification:

- Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Management

- 1st Division- entire academic record

- 1-2 years of work experience will be preferred (in HR consultancy and/or sales)

Compensation:

- At par with industry

Salary Offered : 6 LPA
