Concentrates Operator - Commodity Trading

This is regarding an Operators Role (Entry level) for Worlds Top Commodity Trading organisation based out of _Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

- The Concentrates Operations team is responsible for the complete management and execution of the Physical Trades entered into by the company.

- To perform its functions effectively, the Operations team liaises with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external, like Traders, Clients, Laboratories, Supervision companies, Finance, Treasury, Deals Desk, Accounting, Hedging, Credit, Freight, Compliance, Agents, etc.

- End to End execution of physical cargo deals once the terms are finalized by the traders.

- Arranging International Trade cargo Logistics, Documentations, liaising with port authorities and inspection companies, stock reconciliation and Stock and Trade cargo insurance.

- Internal system and PnL update - Commodity quality data, Costs and Income update, documentation filing.

- Management Information System reports for Traders and Management with assistance from other departments.

- Internal Teams Co-ordination for the deal handled on Trade functions of finance, accounting, treasury, deals desk, credit, etc.

- Hedging - Updating and adjusting hedgable tonnage of a deal and reporting the same to the deals desk department to cover price risk by hedging in the commodities derivatives market.

- Pricing and Invoicing of our clients as per the terms of the contractual agreements.

- Controlling and managing our risks on the physical trade as well as the derivatives risks associated with it.

Candidates must be engineer (Mechanical or Chemical) preferred and ""MBA or PDGM-from Premier Bschool - (Top 15). ""

Candidate from any industry is welcome but should have a strong analytic bend of mind, fluent and sharp communication-(MUST)
