Looking for Compliance Manager with leading Financial based organization for Mumbai  Work Location: Mumbai	  Skill: - Compliance Manager  Job Description: Risk/ Compliance Manager / GSC Compliance Manager  - This position will be located within the Global Service Centre which largely supports US-based consumer and wholesale banking customers subject to US-based banking laws and regulations, as well as local laws which apply to the legal entity for the Global Service Center (GSC).  - In addition, the position would provide Compliance support for the limited technology, corporate, investment and asset management operational activities performed by the GSC.   - This position is responsible for supporting the strong partnership & coordination with the GSC business leadership accountable for offshore activities in Asia and other regional jurisdictions.  - Under the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) the GSC Compliance Manager will support and drive the implementation of the Global Compliance Program and its components, in a safe and sound manner and in compliance with applicable laws both in the US and locally.  - Demonstrates extensive US and local regulatory compliance knowledge to be able to effectively support and drive the Global Compliance Program  - Support the above mentioned GSC lines of business for adherence to the Global Compliance Core Practices and framework  - Work closely with the GSC lines of business to develop and implement compliance plans and frameworks in line with the Global 7 Core Practices Framework  - Liaising with the US and regional lines of business Compliance teams to ensure consistent and best practice compliance procedures and controls are adhered to and implemented  - Assess the impact of new policies and assisting in the design and implementation  - Conduct line of business Compliance related Training when necessary  - Possess compliance testing skills and participate in scheduling, conducting, monitoring and enhancing the Global Compliance Test Program. Monitors and ensures the regulatory control environment is effective.  - Interfaces with senior and middle line management making decisions independently but discusses unusual or complex issues with compliance management.  - Act as central point for the GSC lines of business for ATC/IAS Charter reviews and approvals  - Establish and maintain a consistent breach and issue reporting management process for each line of business  - Implement and maintain a regional reporting model to provide timely and relevant management information across through appropriate reporting mechanisms (scorecards, dashboards, monthly management meetings)   Qualifications - Internal  Requirements:  - Relevant tertiary qualifications  - 7-8+ years’ experience in Risk, Compliance or Audit  - Exposure to Consumer line of business. Exposure to any of the following lines of business Corporate/ Investment Bank and Asset Management would be an advantage.  - Ability to understand, interpret, and apply regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to each line of business  - Understanding of corporate governance requirements and principles of risk management and compliance principles  - Experience implementing compliance policies and procedures  - Excellent written and verbal communication skills  - Excellent decision maker with the ability to manage multiple tasks.  - Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and resource management skills.  - CRCM preferred.   Mithalesh kumar Allegisgroup.com
