Compliance Manager

This position is with a Specialist Risk and compliance firm offering governance and risk consulting service to clients across the globe.

Job Description:

Designation: Compliance Manager

Band: Manager

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: UK timings

Minimum Qualification: CA or ICWA with 6-8 yrs experience in reputed Audit firm with exposure to audits, SOX and internal control testing .

No of years of Experience: 6-8 years

Key Accountabilities/ Job Description:

- Responsible for adherence to internal control framework.

- Responsible for conducting SOX testing of internal controls .

- Identify the gap, work with operation team for fix and ensure remediation is complete.

- Provide training and guidance to operation team on controls, SOX etc

- Conducting Periodic review (Level 2 monitoring) on CPI, Reconciliations, and policy adherence etc

- Producing Compliance Dashboard for different EU market by Finance Directors.

- Addressing queries received from various teams on compliance issues.

- Coordinate with Internal and External Auditors.

- Drive controllership and communication cells with customer.

Required Skills:

- Strong accounting conceptual knowledge

- Strong knowledge in SOX, Statutory/Internal Audits

- Strong analytical skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Knowledge in MS Office tools, MS Access

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge about SOX/ IFRS/UKGAAP/Audit tool techniques is an added advantage.

- Knowledge in UK Regulation is desirable.

- Working knowledge in ERP packages like JDE and SAP.
