Essential: Experienced in managing Production activities in a Medium/large manufacturing setup of similar segment   Context :  - Develop and implement manufacturing schedules and procedures and allocate labor and capital resources to maximize productivity. Analyze production, maintenance, and downtime records to identify & resolve problems for performance improvement. Interface with other functions such as Quality, Commercial, Logistics & Planning, HR etc.  - To drive Supply chain efficiency. To understand their current and future product needs and develop plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing manufacturing activities. Plan, priorities, and manage production line maintenance or downtimes to minimize disruptions to manufacturing schedules.  - Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of supervisors who are responsible for various production activities such as making, finishing & other incidental activities.  - The purpose of the job is to Plan, direct, and monitor all Production activities & Services to meet the production schedules with optimum utilization of resources, ensuring product quality, EOHS norms, equipment upkeep, while keeping costs and wastage at the lowest possible levels.
