Cognizant - Senior Manager - Data Science - Healthcare

- BS/BSc (HON)/BSN in life sciences, health sciences, nursing biotechnology, pharmacy or epidemiology

- An advanced degree which included original research, analysis and thesis submission. Degree may include: MSc, MS, MSN, MD, MBBS, PhD, D.Phil., Pharm.D. or other advanced degrees (medical doctors from foreign countries), potentially has a FACHE certificate.

- Publication record desired

6 to 15 years- experience in the following :

- Hospitals

- Patient administration

- Urgent care organizations

- Large physician group or practices

- Clinical business intelligence

- Clinical research organization

- Clinical services companies - i.e. Quest

- Health insurance

- Pharmacy (corporate)

- Nursing homes, aged care facilities, retirement homes

- Dialysis, Blood, Plasma or Therapeutics

- Is a nurse that has served in a senior leadership role overseeing operations

- Has business operations experience working with data or analytics to drive change, and or driving corporate objectives.

- Experience developing analytics and models to meet corporate or organizational needs

- Track record of presenting and or publishing research or results of organizational analytics and models

- Knowledgeable about hospital/healthcare operations and payer/payee interactions

- Experience with Epic or Meditech is beneficial

- Experience in military and or government healthcare agencies is beneficial
