Role Purpose - Lead and direct the HR & Administration activities for the organisation by working closely with the Co-Founder, Editor. To develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.

Job Description:

Talent Planning & Acquisition:

- Maintain awareness of external talent market place

- Partner on recruitment and participate in the assessment and evaluation of key hires with relevant departments.

- Facilitate new hire induction/on boarding process

- Conduct exit interview process for key positions.

Talent Development:

- Facilitate succession planning for leadership team and below

- Facilitate talent management (talent reviews, promotions, development plans, etc.) for leadership team and below

- Facilitate the mobilization of talent within the business.

- Training need analysis and deliver the training calendar within the training budget.

Performance and Reward:

- Coach department heads to execute annual goal setting and performance management processes within their functions.

- Implementation of compensation and incentive strategies (distribution and usage) within departments

Employee Relations:

- Advise management on HR policies & practices

- Advise management on employee relations legislation

- Mediate between employees & management on key HR issues

- Coordinate employee representative forums and conduct periodic surveys.

- Inform design and development of HR policies and processes

Leadership and Development:

- Provide coaching, development opportunities and support to less experienced HR talent

Risk & Compliance:

Accountability for HR & Adminstration compliance of all regulatory requirements.

Administration:

- Manage the entire administration function for PAN-India locations.

- Discharging responsibilities on whole gamut of administrative areas ranging from policy compliance by employees to travel, accommodation, vendor management, contract administration, inventory management, security and safety of assets as well as personnel and adherence to legal requirements.

- Manage a team of staff members to discharge these responsibilities and will need to work closely with other support teams.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 10-12 years of relevant experience in Human Resource in a generalist profile with focus on talent acquisition.

- Graduate/Post Graduate in Psychology, Human Resource Management.

- Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Excellent MS office skills. Especially in Excel and PowerPoint

- Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously, and working in an environment which requires flexibility, innovation and superb customer service skills.

- Experience delivering effective presentations and training material to a variety of audiences.

- Possess an understanding of employment regulations.

- Coaching, influencing, facilitating, process development, analysis and problem solving skills.

- Strong Execution Skills.
