Cloudtail continues to grow and evolve as a model seller on e-commerce platform - www.amazon.in and is driven by a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship that is core to the company's DNA.   Summary of Responsibilities  Cloudtail seeks a Financial Analyst who would be integral part of the business finance team, and responsible to partner business leaders in Cloudtail. This candidate is expected to demonstrate ownership, insist on high standards, and ability to identify improvement opportunities through financial analysis. He/ she needs to work with business leaders, implement retail centric MIS and provide business decision support to the organization. He / she also will need to work closely with Accounting and various other G&A functions.   Primary responsibilities:  - Create accurate, transparent, and timely financial analysis to support business in decision making process; clearly articulate financial implications of business decisions / choices, and provide retrospective analysis as well as forward looking actions on new proposals and business  - Engages with business leadership to advise on financial and business goals; work closely with them to meet financial goals and supports financially sound decision making  - Continuous assessment of business functioning and establish a management reporting process  - Prepare and drive the Weekly Business Review and Monthly Business reviews with business and drive continuous improvements  - Drive strong forecasting & planning by working with business team to develop bottom-up annual plans and rolling forecasts.  - Drive Controls through tracking of vendor promotions accrual and recovery, auditing pricing process, etc.  Preferred Qualifications:  - 2+ years of Experience in business finance. Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance.   - Strong analytical skills  - Experience working with cross-functional teams  - Fluency in Excel and SQL  - Solid communication skills - written and verbal  Competencies:  - Working knowledge of any ERP  - Maintain a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment  - Preferred experience in building and managing Financial Models
