Vacancy as Close Controller- Service Industry  Position : Close Controller  Location : Gurgaon  Qualification : CA  Relevant Experience :   - Minimum 6 years of post qualification experience in month-end close, reporting & controller ship  - Demonstrated ability in planning/improvement of financial controls  Required Excellent Communication skills and working in reputed MNC  Job Summary :   Responsible for supporting the Regional GL close activities involving working closely with various business/ function teams across the region, supporting the month-end and quarter-end reporting requirements, providing suggestions for improvement and effective risk management with the objective of enhancing controls and compliance processes of the company  Regional Close Activities :   - Drive the regional close activities by reviewing the key metrics and analysis of the financials as per IFRS requirements  - Support the monthly and quarterly group reporting requirements  - Liaise with the business teams to support various central accounting, reporting & control requirements  - Support in review of business processes and identification of areas of improvement to enhance the control environment  - Support the investigation & closure of key accounting issues  - Support the key regional initiatives  - Owning the books of accounts of regional entities  - Leading the budgeting, month-end close and reporting activities of regional entities  - Support the finalization of year-end financial including compliance & filing of year-end accounts as per IFRS  Key Competencies Required :   Core Competencies :   - Attention to details  - Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Power-point  - Hands-on experience of closing the books of accounts and finalizing the financial statements   - Analytical skills  - Working under stringent reporting deadlines  - Driving change  - Delivering performance  - Working with complexity  - Managing professionally  - Customer thinking  - Collaborating and co-operating  Functional Competencies :   - Knowledge of financials and accounting policies  - Knowledge of corporate governance norms and trends/ risk management issues
