Role:
– 50% working within Relationship Management team working with Relationship Managers (MDs, Directors, Vice Presidents etc.) in /NYC and 50% working with Client Strategy and Analytics team (there is common management across both teams)
Primary Responsibilities:
50% Relationship Management
- Prepare client briefing documents for US RM & client meetings
- Prepare and maintain client strategy documents which include “deep dive” analysis on priority clients in advance of internal reviews of client business
- Create / maintain client information models including key themes, revenues, relationship information
- Prepare internal review materials for priority clients
- Manage client participation in US RM events and prepare briefing documents for all clients attending these events
- Become a client expert for US priority clients
- Adhoc project work
50% Client Strategy and Analytics
- Run detailed quantitative analysis of client base focused on understanding wallet, revenue gaps, drivers of wallets
- Cataloging detailed action points and facilitating the sales process for our clients (will be specific to a region)
- Building analytical tools and models based on macros and incorporating a high degree of automation and standardization to run scalable models dealing with large amounts of data
- Producing largely automated standardised MIS and supporting detailed tracking mechanisms
- Additional projects to support global work streams in the Client Strategy and Analytics space
Requirements:
- A graduate with strong programming skills (particularly in VBA and database languages) preferably with an Engineering background with 2 – 3 years of consulting experience with one of the top consulting firms.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Good database skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with top down approach
- Demonstrated intellectual skills: the ability to structure problems logically, to develop innovative yet practical solutions, ability to identify implications and synthesize results
- Strong communication skills –written and spoken
- Knowledge of investment banking structure and businesses
- Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Self motivation
- Strong IT skills including VBA skills to interact with MS product suite, Excel (to include macros), Word, PPT
