Citizens Alliance - Zonal Operation Officers/Managers

Citizens Alliance team is working in the Social Development sector to work on challenges being faced by the nation. One of the key challenges identified in the Skill Development domain is the gap between unemployed trained people and the employers who are not getting good candidates. Solving this problem will help two big stakeholders

Employers: Getting them the right resources, hence increasing efficiency, therefore helping the growth of the nation

Job Seekers: Helping them get an opportunity to earn, thereby reducing dependent population of the nation

Zonal Operation Officers/Managers shall be posted at various locations in India to implement the Skill Development initiative of Citizens Alliance at the grass root level. An ideal candidate shall be a qualified professional in Social Works/Public Welfare domain and should be willing to relocate and extensive Travelling.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage 5-10 Districts and shall be responsible for end-to-end implementation of module at grass root level

- Liason with central office with a focus to design various programs and activities/initiatives

- Conduct awareness and mobilization campaigns for all stages of the project

- Liason with all stakeholders, government, corporates, industries, associates, NGOs, local representatives, citizens etc to achieve assigned objectives

- Foresee potential pitfalls and ensure seamless execution of the module

- Set up data collection and reporting systems from grass roots to central team

- Financial Management

- Any other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

Skills and Competencies:

- Graduate/Post Graduate in social works/public welfare domain with about 0-5 years of experience in public engagement, on-ground project implementation and outreach in semi-urban/rural areas

- Good oral and written communication skills. Fluency in Hindi is a must

- Strong networking, negotiating and relationship building skills

- Good leadership skills. Should be able to manage team and allocate work

- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office
