The Product enables card transactions at door step or at the table in a restaurant. The Product is available as an API that can be integrated with a front end application to enable card based payments. The Product also enables cash, cheque related payments with integration to merchant ERP. The Product offers Dashboard for easy online transaction monitoring and reporting to merchants and the acquirer. The Product is a service facility that presents card, cash, cheque payments, reporting, settlement and operational services to merchants and banks.  The Product platform provides a superior, secure, cutting edge and is flexible to meet the different requirements of bank payment gateway systems to process payments for a host of acquirers.   Description:  The Chief Technology Officer's role will be to enhance the Architecture of The Product and associated services and deliver. To assure successful execution of the strategy by integrating and enabling company processes with appropriate technologies.  - This will require envisioning of the company's service offerings to be enabled through appropriate technology platforms and applications, leading implementations of the same and planning for risk, security and scale growth.   - This individual will be responsible for all technology initiatives within the start-up and will lead the technology strategy for the company's customers and will operate within the core company values while doing so. For the company, this position is part of the core team that will decide the strategy for business success and growth.  Responsibilities:  - Build and develop a strong technology team.  - Oversee development work on day to day basis and to roll up your sleeve as required.  - Managing relationships with hosting companies and implementing scalable technology from production point of view.  - Be a core member of the product definition team and leader for the product architecture to define the implementation strategy and technologies requirements.  - Managing relationship with the banks, Payment cards providers technology team for seamless integration and service delivery.  - Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for technology spending and initiatives.  - Define requirements for new technology implementations.  - Create and communicate the technology strategy to investors, management, staff, partners, customers and stakeholders.  - Support the business development process by providing implementation of technical requirement for integration, service delivery and setting SLA's.  Candidate Profile:  - Proven leadership experience in Banking IT software and systems with 8 - 10 years experience in building such systems.  - Core understanding of the KYC issues, payment compliance requirements and customer privacy issues.  - Experience of building a scalable fully redundant fault tolerant infrastructure.  - Experience of Architecting solutions and personally a technology visionary.  - Proven ability to build and manage a technical team of 10-20 product engineering professionals.  - Experience in leading banks, payment systems companies and gateways would be an added preference.  - Experience in start up projects / businesses will be an added advantage.  - Core knowledge of information security vulnerabilities and risk management is essential.  - Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.  - Self Motivated and directed with a keen eye for detail.  - Superior analytical, evaluative and problem solving abilities.  - Ability to motivate in a team oriented, collaborative environment to further organization and business interest above all.
