JOB DESCRIPTION  Job title Chief Operating Officer  Reports to Managing Director  Job Location Delhi  Job Responsibilities-  COO will be primarily involved in Setting up of new venture - Creation of New Liquor Brand. A lot goes into making of a Liquor Brand and then make it successful. A sound recipe that pleases the palette may not be enough. There are licenses to be obtained, production to arrange, logistics to think about and a brand to create! Starting with these bare essentials you have a chance for success in the highly competitive world of liquor. And success has to be a continuous thing. Focus on operations is the key to long term success. This role would be responsible for the nine yards of creating a Liquor Brand and driving it along with the vision of the management. This is a unique opportunity to join a brand at the ground level of its set up.   Specific Responsibilities would be Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain & Procurement Strategy as well as Annual Operating Plans for their function. Drive day-to-day business agenda for their function some of the major responsibilities in this role would be:-  - Strategy: Contribute to the development of the company's corporate strategy and lead strategy execution in the areas of their function to ensure that company achieves its short and long-term objectives. In this role they will be a key member of the strategy team. Lead and facilitate the creation and implementation of product strategies, and ensure that the strategies are aligned with and contribute to the achievement of overall organizational goals   - Sales & Marketing: Will involve the planning the route to market and planning the execution at every touch point. The brand creation, identity, positioning and the execution and communication of the same in all the markets and sales planning of the same.  - Manufacturing: Direct and control the production function to ensure that finished goods of the required standard are available to customers within agreed costs and at the right times. Will lead and recommend operational reconfiguration of existing capacities to ensure maximum capacity utilization and take costs out. Responsible to identify and develop relationships with Third Party Manufacturers to meet the strategic goals of the company.  - Procurement: Direct and control the purchasing function to ensure that the company has all the resources required for production purposes within agreed costs and quality standards and at the right times.  - Warehousing & Distribution: Direct and control the warehousing and distribution functions to ensure that customers are supplied with the right quantities of goods at the right times.  - Projects Execution: Contribute to the development and lead in the implementation of projects and ensure that all objectives are met within agreed timescales and budgets.  - Policy & Procedures: Contribute to the development and implementation of all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that areas under functional control achieve their business objectives.  - Planning & Budgeting: Development of operational plan that is in line with the overall business plan / AOP. Develop and control the budget for the team to ensure that the department has all the resources required to meet its objectives within agreed financial parameters.  - Health & Safety: Contribute to the development of all necessary policies to ensure that a safe and healthy working environment is maintained in all company sites  - Environment: Ensure that the company's operations and processes comply with the best environmental standards and relevant legislation within prescribed quality standards and costs  - People: Lead technical training, development and appraisal of people  Qualifications-  - Minimum BE/B.Tech graduate from Tier one institute with at least 3 years of experience and a track record in senior program management.  - Passion to build a startup  - Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach a mid-level staff to manage and develop high-performance teams and develop and implement program strategies.  - Analytic and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals.  - Ability to point to specific examples of having led organizational transformation projects and program development.  - Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator   - Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management  - Passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed  Please mail CV with Current & expected CTC or give us some valuable references
