Role: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) - All Category (Skin & Perfumes)
Location: Kolkata
Reports to: Managing Director / CEO
Reported by: Brand Managers, Sales, Supply Chain, R & D Media Agencies etc.
Preferred Education & experience & Skills:
- MBA in Marketing or PGDM ( full time ) with 10-15 years of experience in Marketing prefferebly with a mix of agency and industry experience and should be an out of box thinker.
- Should have essentially worked in similar capacity of managing a FMCG Brands. Exposure to multiple categories in FMCG industry would be preferred
Principal Accountabilities :
- Devise Marketing Strategy and Annual Marketing Plan
- Contribute appropriately as the HOD - Marketing team to the delivery of overall strategic planning and achieve sales and market share objectives of the Company
- Work on marketing Mix, Creative strategy, NPD and portfolio management to ensure delivery of brand objectives - Market share, Gross Margin, Consumer Measures and Brand Financials
- Undertake on- going analysis and review of performance of products, channels, segments and regions to assist in identification of relevant trends, key issues and/or opportunities
- Work with the sales team to develop promotional initiatives to profitably increase market share within budgeted cost parameters
- Monitor competitive brand, communications and product development activities and to actively share key findings internally
- Liaise with advertising/Research/Media agencies to develop campaign and achieve brand objectives
- Coordinate with technical/supply chain/perfumers/R &D/manufacturing with regard to cost efficient sourcing and product development
- Ensure right packaging and product design
- Responsible for executing plans to achieve sales plan
- Drive innovation with new product and promotion plans
- Manage BTL marketing activities
- Responsible for the brand and its targeted positioning, coordinating with agency. Drive media strategy to ensure brand message reach
- Manage category budgets for adverting and sales promotion
- Manage and develop team to deliver along with co-ordination with all departments.
