The Chief Information Officer's role is to provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology and systems initiatives.

- The Chief Information Officer directs the planning and implementation of enterprise IT and systems in support of business operations in order to improve cost effectiveness, service quality and business development. This individual is responsible for all aspects of the organization's information technology and systems.

Qualification: Engineer ECE / CS / IT from Reputed institution (Required), Business Management (desirable)

Work Experience - No. of years: 10 to 15 years experience in progressively higher responsibilities; ITES experience preferred

Nature of experience: No 1 or No 2 role in the IT / IS function in a reputed corporate

- Overall Technical experience in Networks / Technology / New Areas in ISIT; Project Management; ERP implementation / Sustenance; Working with Business Stakeholders; IT Procurement; Project Management;
ITIL / Technical Certification desirable

Competencies / behavioral skills: Innovative; Result Focus; Proactive Co-operation; Service Orientation; Courage and leadership

Main Responsibilities & Activities:

Responsibility Area / Activities:

Strategic:

- Provide leadership for ISIT strategy across all divisions of the company.

- Aligning ISIT and Business goals; identifying needs of business on an on-going basis

- Devising and updating IT Strategy and roadmaps for the business.

- Stakeholder Management and interfacing with Top Management.

- IT as enabler for the business and providing competitive edge.

Operational:

- Preparing and obtaining approvals for IT Revenue, Capital and Manpower budgets based on corporate guidelines.

- Managing overall IT service delivery, SLA compliance; ensuring high levels of services for all end users, customers, partners;

- Cost improvement and optimization on an ongoing basis

- Managing implementation of IT projects within time and budgets and delivering value and user satisfaction.

- Managing Risk and Compliance; Design & implement IT policies; Licensing and Asset Management;

People / Development:

- Quality related exposure such as Six Sigma, Lean; etc.

- Change Management

- Team building and development with high level of Inter-personal skills

Key Result Areas:

Perspective / KRAs:

- Financial: Efficient use of IT assets; Continuous Cost Improvements / Savings

- Customer: Timely Provisioning of Project / Customer Needs

Process:

- Service Levels for various ISIT Services

- Risk and Compliance and Software and Asset Management

- Peoplesoft Projects and Improvements

Age Limit: Max 40 years not beyond
