About the client- It's an Ahmedabad-based pharmaceutical research, marketing and manufacturing company. Founded in 2008, it provides pharmaceutical products and services for various critical illnesses and diseases. In 2015, it raised $16 million (Rs 100 crore) in a Series-A round of funding from one of the top notch PE Firm.

Reports to- CEO

Team size- 4-5

Responsibilities-

- Responsible for formulation & implementation of corporate financial strategies.

- Monitors the strategic plans which will have to be converted into Annual Operating Plans aligned with company's long term strategies. These will have to be institutionalized by defining the review mechanism.

- Provides critical financial and operational information to the Chairman and Management and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.

- Oversees the development of annual operating plan and costs management in alignment with company's mission.

- Provides necessary support to the top management in situations of potential acquisitions, and collaborations with external organizations.

- Leads Budget and forecasting process at corporate level. Supports Operations planning with accurate financial forecasting.

- Formulates and evaluates all financial planning activities / processes including operating and strategic plans forecasts.
