Description - Chief Financial Officer for a leading infrastructure player

Client Details :

Our client is an Indian conglomerate with diversified interests in Infrastructure projects. Their portfolio covers the Transportation, Power, Urban and the Utilities segment. They are currently executing 50+ PPP projects with an order book value in excess of USD 3.5 Billion headquartered in Mumbai.

The group is currently looking to hire a Senior CFO to lead the Infrastructure Vertical which is rapidly expanding

Job Description :

Reporting to the CEO of the Infrastructure group and dual reporting to the Strategy Head of the conglomerate, your responsibilities will include :

Fund Raising and Capital Allocation : Responsible to raise funds via your own banking network. Drive investment decisions and capital allocation process across business projects & support and advise businesses in building robust investment plans.

Risk Management : Develop Risk management policies and implement effective Risk management framework (including Insurance etc.) and implementation of robust business controls

- Business performance review process

- Provide the group with a complete financial picture

- Drive cost management initiatives within the organization to achieve improving efficiencies within the organization

- Ensure robust decision making based on good quality MIS

- Strengthening financial controls in businesses

- Drive standardized accounting policies across group

- Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial and physical assets of the organization

- Interact with key statutory and internal auditors of Group companies

- Provide secretarial compliance oversight across group companies

- Provide inputs to businesses on taxation and legal issues

- Provide inputs into group strategy development, portfolio assessment and talent management processes

- Implement / Standardise ERP as required

Profile :

- You are a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 22 years of experience. You should currently be leading the Finance function for a large Infrastructure player with interest in various PPP Projects.

- You should have strong experience In Project Funding experience (Equity & Debt). It is absolutely imperative for you to have had experience in leading an IPO right from the start and taking the company through to listing.

- Apart from this prior working experience managing Joint Ventures, M&A activity and BD / Commercial experience would ensure your success in this sort of a role.

In addition, you are a good communicator and have a strong management style to implement control. A self-initiator who is excited by different and new challenges is a must.
