Chief Finance Officer - Power/Energy

Summary : The Chief Financial Officer will oversee all finance, accounting, forecasting, budgeting, treasury, tax and insurance functions at Kalpataru Power. This role directs all financial activities and advises and assists the CEO’s in meeting the overall financial and strategic objectives of the company. The CFO is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the Executive Committee Team to establish long range goals, strategies, plans and policies for the company

Area of responsibilities :

- Define Financial Standards, policies and procedures to meet organizational goals

- Design Financial Strategy and performance parameters at corporate level.

- Assist in preparation of business plans and financial forecasting for new businesses being considering by the company

- Planning and Preparation of Annual Budgets.

- Regular Monitoring and taking corrective timely actions to ensure that expenses do not exceed the approved budgets.

- Finalization of Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Balance Sheet & other financial statements.

- Providing guidance for all legal and secretarial matters.

- JV Agreements – Checking and confirmation of commercial / legal issues.

- Overseeing all Taxation (Direct/Indirect) related matters.

- Strengthening of MIS and ensuring consistent flow of reliable information.

- Setting up effective internal audit systems and its monitoring

Education :

Mandatory : CA, Desirable : CA + CS

Experience :

20-25 Years of Post qualification Experience with a minimum of 8 years of Leadership role in an organization of repute
