Chief Finance Officer - Agro Business

Responsibilities:

Countries of Focus: India, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Laos and Cambodia

Funding and Compliance:

- Responsible for raising funds for the business (working capital /term loan/private equity) across the Globe

- Build and maintain strong relationships with Investors

- Ensuring all Statutory and Regulatory Compliance's (local and international authorities) are met

- Up Stream: Financial operations:

Existing Plantation:

- Manage the financials/Accounting functions of the existing plantations profitably with focus on yield and operating expenses

- Decide and Maintain optimum capital structure to ensure high return on investment

New Acquisition Opportunities:

- Evaluate and invest in attractive opportunities to acquire existing plantations (Coffee or Pepper) or fresh lands (either ELC or long term lease as ownership) at affordable costs in South East Asian Countries with emphasis on return on investment

- Constantly evaluate the potential of new opportunities in the South East Asian regions which the company will scout, in order to build a profitable portfolio of products under management

Mid Stream:

- Trading/Sourcing Desk: Build a trading desk in Singapore with focus on building turnover of USD 20 Mn. per anum, funding through structured trade finance, scouting profitable and attractive opportunities in the supply chain to trade across the globe.

Experience:

- MBA or CA with over 15 years of experience in running and managing agro business

- Preferred experience in Coffee and Pepper - Extensive experience in South East Asian Countries

- Experience working in international market like South Asian countries, Middle East, Africa, Europe Etc...
