Basic objective: The Chief Executive Officer will provide leadership and direction and coordinate all activities of the company in accordance with the goals and objectives of the organisation to safeguard and grow the assets of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for the business, & guide & lead the management team comprising of marketing, commercial, accounts, project engineers in creating new customer, & analyse business opportunity in new areas, of the business. He will set sales & profit targets for the company

Role: Guide and lead a team of technical professionals in marketing, commercial, finance, engineers to identify new business areas and customers and meet or surpass agreed business plan targets (Sales and Profit)

1) Business Development

- Identify new business opportunities

- Analyse the business environment through detailed studies and research to identify new business opportunities and customers in line with business plan targets

- Develop cost effective ways of delivering projects

- Analyse and plan business strategies and activities through regular periodic assessments and reviews to reduce and optimise costs and effectiveness in delivering and implementing projects (Time and cost overruns)

2) Management

- Assess management

- Collaborate with the Directors and other significant authorities in the organisation through periodic meetings, reviews and assessments ensure that the organisation meets or exceeds the expectations of the Management.

- Detailed Business plan

- Analyse, plan and monitor the formulation and implementation of an aggressive business plan, based on detailed business environment study, business opportunities and potential to meet and surpass organisational growth targets.

3) Personnel Human Resources

- Ensure harmonious relations are maintained amongst employees in the organisation

- Evaluate employees based on the performance & recommend growth prospect

- Develop team work defining specific roles & responsibilities along reporting line

- Direct the design, implementation and monitoring of activities, processes and procedures so that all staff are adequately and productively engaged through clear job profiles and a robust performance management and other HR systems to ensure a productive and harmonious organisational work environment.

- Establish systems and procedures that enable staff at all levels to identify and fill professional developmental gaps that are appropriate to their work accountabilities.

- Provide guidance and motivated direction to the staff of the organisation in meeting the strategic objectives and business plan targets.

- Establish and monitor systems and processes to ensure that all jobs in the organisation are clearly defined and staffed by persons who adequately meet the job requirements.

Compliance:

- Compliance for legislation and regulatory bodies are monitored.

- Direct and ensure statutory compliance in all areas and aspects of business operations including documentation and reporting to meet statutory requirements.

Accounts:

- Preparation of budget for approval by the Board of Directors in March each year.

- Reporting against budget monthly to the directors, explaining any variations and defining actions to be taken if budgets not met.

- Direct and monitor processes and activities for the preparation and approval of the budget in line with business environmental realities and business plan expectations and targets.

- Review increases in costs of any major items of raw materials, component or labour service charges. Ensure the adequacy and soundness of the company's financial structure reviewing all capital expenditure requests and arrangements for additional finance-funds

- Review and assess financial and other related functions (purchase, sales, etc.) through a robust MIS, monthly performance reviews and related documentation and reporting to ensure the financial health of the organisation in line with Management expectations.

- MIS reporting on a monthly basis

- Create system for controls & reporting of the company

- Direct and monitor processes and activities to ensure that all contracts and commercial instruments are legally sound and in line with industry standards and always in the best interests of the organisation.

- Design, direct and monitor systems for financial, checks and balances to ensure financial integrity and documentation in line with statutory requirements and best practices.
