Job & Candidate Profile: Role Purpose :
- Overall & Complete business responsibility for Brand in India that includes developing & carrying out the strategic plans and policies to promote revenue, profitability and growth as an organization & to Oversee company operations to ensure operational efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources
Heading the complete business activities:
- To grow the business substantially and have a share of the target market, over and above specific expansion activities, in consultation with chairman of the Group
- Identify, develop and direct the implementation of business strategy for the Brand.
- Plan and direct activities to achieve stated/agreed targets and standards for financial and trading performance, quality and culture
- Provide total quality leadership
- Direct functions and performance via the executive team
- Maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies
- Research, innovate and develop newer and unique strategies aimed at improving process, and generation of new business avenues and channels pan India.
- Heading overall operational activities
- Manage overall operations towards achievement of targeted Revenues and P&L
- Analyze, plan & execute a high growth and revenue model for the overall business
- Conduct business analysis & plan all organizational monthly, quarterly and annual activities in line with the Business Plans
- Ensure documentation of Complete SOPs and manual
- Continuous innovation for the overall business of the Brand.
- Negotiate prices, guide & advice, discount terms and logistics for the business.
- Examine, select, order, and purchase at the most favorable price merchandise consistent with quality, quantity, specification requirements and other factors
- Analyze and monitor sales records, trends and economic conditions to anticipate consumer buying patterns and determine what the company will sell and how much inventory is needed.
- Work closely with vendors to obtain and develop desired products or services.
- Set or recommend mark-up rates, mark-down rates, and selling prices for merchandise.
- Confer with sales and purchasing personnel to obtain information about customer needs and preferences.
- Conduct staff meetings with sales/designated department personnel.
- Responsible to manage the working capital effectively and need to be fully aware of non moving stocks and plan to return/liquidate them in the best possible manner.
- Complete control of accounts is crucial and periodic reconciliations need to be done with vendors, distributors, dealers and customers
- Developing Customer Centricity as a whole:
a) Put in place systems and processes to achieve 'customer centricity' as a key value across all levels of the organization
b) Measure "Customer Delight" quotient on an ongoing basis and use the quotient as an important variable while rewarding performance
- Perform the role of a people manager for the organization
- Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, customer focus, entrepreneurship and team work across the entire organisation
- Acquire the best of talent in the industry
- Develop talent within the team by providing consistent direction and support to achieve stretch targets and take leadership positions
