Chartered Accountant - Internal Audit/Compliance/Revenue Assurance - BFSI

Qualification & Skills:

- Chartered Accountant with 8-10 years of experience in a similar role in Insurance Industry or from Financial Services industry.

- Ability to lead a team of 5-7 qualified professionals in varied nature of assignments

- Strong interpersonal skills - a relationship builder that relies on collaboration with auditees to develop practical solutions and to solicit important information to help develop audit plan

- Has the ability to engage others, instill confidence and earn trust and support; provide a collaborative, patient and advisory demeanor

- Ability to challenge constructively and persuasively.

Internal Audit:

- Develop a deep understanding of the processes, risks and controls.

- To work closely with all Functions within the Company for defining Audit Calendar and Scope & Coverage.

- Conduct audit by taking into account Financial, Risk, Proprietary and Operational perspective.

Compliance Audit:

- Good understanding of the regulations governing Insurance business

- To work closely with central compliance team to finalize and execute audits covering regulations

- Conduct File and Use and AML audit in accordance with the requirement of regulation.

Revenue Assurance & Management audits:

- Conduct Revenue Assurance & Management audits in accordance with the agreed program

- Take up adhoc assignments related to audit and review of process.

- Communicate the results of audits and reviews via written reports and oral presentations to Audit Committee.

- Ensure Audit Reports are followed up to confirm implementation progress and report upon non-compliance with Audit recommendations

- Coordinate with Internal Auditors of the Company for planning, ensuring that audits are conducted as per schedule

- To make recommendations on the systems and procedures being reviewed, and monitor management's response and implementation.

- To work with management to ensure a system is in place which ensures that all major risks are identified and analyzed

- Represent Internal Audit in Audit committees and other
