CGIAR/ICRISAT - Officer - HR Business Partner

ICRISAT seeks applications for the position of Officer-HR (HR Partner) to be based at Patancheru, Telangana, India.

ICRISAT is a non-profit, apolitical, international organization for science-based agricultural development. Established in 1972, it is an Alliance of centers of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), and supported by more than 48 governments, foundations, and development banks. To reduce poverty, enhance crop productivity and food security and to protect the environment, ICRISAT research focuses on farming systems and crop improvement, management and utilization of sorghum, pearl millet, pigeonpea, chickpea, and groundnut in the semi-arid tropics.

The Position:

The incumbent would be responsible for managing HR process improvement projects and talent acquisition. The key responsibilities are as follows:

The Job:

The incumbent will collaborate with the programs to implement relevant HR practices/operations.

- Manage employee relations activities and advise managers on employee issues

- Responsible for performance management and improvement initiatives

- Responsible for employee engagement programs, development initiatives and rewards & recognition frameworks

- Support the annual compensation activities ensuring consistent and fair decisions are made in the promotion, bonus and salary increase processes

- Responsible for career management & development plans and implementation

- Drive best practices and improvements to internal processes & systems

- Independently drive few strategic HR projects

- Keep pulse of the employees through various employee connect mediums.

- Proactively communicate policies and process to employees

- Drive HR SLAs for the programs to ensure 100% completion

- Drive retention programs

- Deliver additional assignment and projects assigned by the management.

The Person:

General:

The position is for three years, renewable based on the performance of the incumbent and the Institute's continuing need for the position. An attractive compensation is offered for the right candidate.
