CFBI - Associate Consultant

Citizens Foundation for Better India was initiated by a group of spirited professionals to create large-scale sustainable impact on 'Quality of Life' of people, who had earlier formed Citizens for Accountable Governance (CAG). CAG, as a group, redefined campaigning in India for the General Elections 2014 through its innovative use of technology and conducted nation-wide initiatives like Chai Pe Charcha & 3D Rallies. The group has also been accredited to execute projects like Manthan, which saw participation of more than 15,000 students from 250 colleges, Statue of Unity movement, which reached 6.5 lakh Gram Panchayat, and many more.

The same set of people who shared a common passion to improve the lives of millions of Indians by creating positive impact at the grassroots level, decided to form CFBI. CFBI's members come from diverse professional backgrounds like Consulting, Investment Banking, Think Tanks, Analytics firms, start-ups, etc. having completed their education from the finest institutions in India & abroad, such as IITs, IIMs, Harvard, Stanford, Imperial College, University of Delhi among others.

Currently, CFBI is working on various projects across three domains mentioned below:-

1.Government Consulting: Engaging with central and state governments and other quasi-government bodies as consultants and implementation partner to improve last mile delivery of schemes and programs through greater citizen participation.

2.CSR Program Management: Designing and managing large scale CSR initiatives for top Corporate Groups/Foundations and supporting the entire value chain to execute programs on ground.

3. CFBI Flagship Initiatives: Establishing for-profit ventures in social development sector in collaboration with Government agencies, private partners, NGOs and CSOs to create a multiplier effect on-ground and catalyse the development of the target community. Projects include developing Model Villages, creating a central registry for Blood Donation and Organ Donation and setting up model vocational training centers.
