My client is a Swiss MNC looking for a CEO for their Agri Business for India. The position will be based at Mumbai.  The JD is as follows:  Responsibility areas:  - Manages all operations (including the pilot operations) with responsibility for project timelines, profit, revenue, cash and quality targets  - Represents the company and actively manages relationships with all external stakeholders  - Produces business performance reports along defined KPAs on a monthly basis  - Recruits and manages the employees, including performance monitoring, mentoring and training  Required skills:  - Strategic thinker with capability to contribute to development of expansion strategy  - Financial qualification with a solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning  - Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a strong understanding of project management  - Excellent industry network and networking skills in combination with ambassadorial skills to manage the external environment and enhance the reputation of the company  - Good leadership skills in terms of setting a vision, gaining alignment and maintaining morale and team spirit  - Ability to recruit and develop talent and monitor performance  - Computer and presentation skills to be able to communicate without secretarial assistance  - High integrity and values in alignment with the company's ethical standards  - Sufficient understanding of legal and corporate governance matters  Background:  - Education at a leading faculty (i.e. top international MBA program or top Indian institute)  - Must have at least 5 years of experience in leading a company or significant business unit (more than 100 people) in agri related sector (either fresh produce retail, fresh business or agri input business)  - Must have experience in ramping up a business and managing complex projects  - Good to have management consulting experience followed by strategic position in an agri related sector  Personality:  - Entrepreneurial mind-set  - Willing to spend time in rural areas (on-site) and directly lead team  - Affinity to farmers and rural India  - Compatibility with western mind-set  - High integrity  Age/seniority:  - Preferably in the range 38-48  - Still hungry enough to deliver, willing to do things himself  CTC is open.  Jose Bharucha Principal Consultant - Talent Acquisition Antal International Network Mumbai
