Position: Quantitative Senior Associate - Sales, Marketing, & Communications Practice

The Sales, Marketing, & Communications Practice aims to hire a Quantitative Associate, and is currently accepting applications. The selected individual will be part of the product team addressing cutting-edge strategic issues facing today's senior-most member executives at leading, global corporations.

Overall Job Purpose and Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities of a Quantitative Associate include the design and development of tools and surveys; collection, organization and analysis of data from external and internal databases; automation of procedures and processes; and eventually the collaboration with CEB programs on a broad range of quantitative initiatives. This position offers enormous opportunities for personal growth and achievement and, over time, provide personal exposure to many different programs across CEB.

Quant Associates will have many tasks and responsibilities, including:

- Helping to develop key analysis and reports based on data/information from secondary sources

- Launching member surveys and maintaining the accuracy and validity of the data

- Analyzing and interpreting data into charts and CEB-quality graphics, VBA, MS Excel

- Proof reading member-facing reports to ensure high quality and verify accuracy of data

- Coordinating internally with data teams to ensure timely delivery of quality reporting and services to members

- Support members on their immediate research needs (reactive projects) through research briefs, flash-poll surveys, and benchmarking data analysis

- Manage and support benchmarking campaigns and web-site(s) clean up and maintenance (topic refresh, search optimization)

Qualifications - Education/Work Experience

Successful candidates must:

- Possess superlative interpersonal and communication skills

- Have strong organizational/time management skills

- Have a strong analytic and statistical skills, and the ability to apply these skills to real-life business challenges

- Be analytically focused - an analytics-oriented Bachelors is preferred (e.g. Economics, Statistics)

- Have expertise in several software applications related to analytics: Excel (including some understanding of macros), PowerPoint, and SPSS (or other statistical package such as SAS or STATA)

- Be self motivated/self starters- able to work with little direct supervision, but able to track and report on work progress when needed

- Possess good upward management skills- able to help their managers prioritize; proactively identify areas that require focus and bring them to manager's attention

- Be results-oriented with an eye toward - getting the details right- attention to detail is a must

- Have a deep commitment to service, both in serving internal clients and CEB's customers

- Strong oral and written communication skills, with particular attention to precision of language and ability to organize information logically.

- Work well with team members based in USA

Ideal candidates will possess one or more of the following:

- Experience programming in VBA and/or Java and general experience with web applications.

- Exposure to Vovici/Verint, Confirmit, or other online survey programming platforms

- Understanding of survey design and/or have previous experience with market research surveys

- Basic comprehension of database design/maintenance

- Two years- work experience at a global company with experience on cross-geography teams

- Master's degree in statistics, economics, or other analytics-oriented field
