- The Category Manager is responsible for driving sales through premium category product planning and execution of strategic product marketing plans, as well as, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with, KAM, Marketing and Professional Services to ensure sales objectives and customer satisfaction goals are met.   - To lead most premium and scalable category of products in the market and optimizes processes and captures innovative and efficient market solutions to provide a competitive edge to the organisation; to act as a business partner and change agent to fully understand business needs and ensure buy-in and successful implementation of category solutions.  Major Accountabilities: (Describe the main results of the job to be achieved )   - Develops customer sales strategies by brand/Category to achieve sales goals as established by the Management.   - Creates and implements innovative strategies that deliver genuine breakthroughs in Customer relationship and engagement resulting in tertiary sales in the category.  - Develops and leads sales and product presentations category wise - X- times a year to each account, conducts business reviews with all of them at least once a month using company provided reports and tools.   - Responsible for meeting and exceeding weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual goals (Unit and $ sales, Rx %, Return rates) by meeting targets by brand by customer.  - Visits all the A (as per door report) Top Account Doors at least once every Month, conducts regular professional training/symposiums minimum of 4 times per year (to co-inside with overall training objective) per account.  - Implements and Manage customer assortment / plan by brands at the customer level and set up/reinforce weekly replenishment systems.  - Forecasts weekly sales and for all special projects to the Management, Provides analysis of account sales, inventory, marketing initiatives and merchandising presentations   - Maintains and update the Door report for Top Accounts in the region to track distribution and ship POP-   - Provides recap of all customer meetings with specific action items, and then follows up with all the required parties to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of tasks   - Interfaces with inventory planner on inventory needs and changes to account assortments, inclusive of POM sales.  - Increases territory retail consumption by account by initiating and executing strategies by brand, inclusive of Contests and Promotions.  - Establishes Merchandising program inline with direction from Corporate office, customized to meet customer needs.   - Builds and maintains strong working relationships and leverages brand portfolio with key customers  - Coordinates needs with Marketing Department, inclusive of advertised images and pop needs for accounts. Lead project tracking for Marketing Initiatives.  - Analyzes the expenditure base to identify cost reduction opportunities; builds, documents, and continuously updates/maintains market and product knowledge.  - Ensures that category activities are in accordance with the letter and spirit - policies and procedures, fostering highest ethical standards.  - Responsible for adverse event and product complaint handling related activities at a local level including the collection, intake and forwarding the information to the Local Vigilance Representative).  - Adherence to all corporate compliance guidelines & corporate programs by self and team   Key Performance Indicators (Indicate how performance will be measured: indicators, activities)  - Achievement of Category wise brand wise targets.  - Share of volume through innovative & breakthrough account management.  - Implementation of exclusive marketing programs.  - Compliance of category activities to mandated processes and guidelines   - Meeting key milestones in implementation of projects in accordance with pre-defined timelines, activity plans, and expected quality  - Key Stakeholder feedback regarding source plans  Target Industry : OTC/FMCG/RETAIL  Looking for Female candidates
