Analyst - Compensation & Benefits - Mumbai
Position Details:
- As part of the HR Center of Excellence (COE) team, this position will be responsible for implementation, administration and delivery of compensation, benefits and reward programs that drive the achievement of business objectives and results.
- This position will report to the C&B Specialist and will be based in Mumbai
- The role requires a strong flair for numbers and an analytical approach in proposing well researched solutions to operational and tactical issues.
- A strong execution and operational focus and a keen interest to learn, innovate and improve existing policies, programs and processes within Capita.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute major compensation initiatives: Merit Salary Increase, Progressions and Salary Fitments etc.
- Lead the roll out, communication and ongoing administration of new and existing compensation & benefits programs and policies.
- Maintain competitive base pay structures and salary ranges. Conduct ongoing competitive market pricing for jobs in India.
- Participate in external compensation surveys; provide/present detailed analysis.
- Understand India specific regulations and ensure compliance of Capita processes and practices.
- Study of existing processes and enhance effectiveness through automation/changes
- Interact closely with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure compensation programs are relevant/ adaptable to the emerging market realities.
- Serve as go-to compensation advisor for the HRBP Teams. Assess business or organizational needs and provide support as appropriate.
- Work closely with C&B Specialist or Finance or other support teams to ensure effective implementation of comp programs.
- Manages Short Term Incentives Plan (e.g. Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Variable Pays) as per various processes within Capita.
Education / Experience / Skills & Competencies:
- MBA from a premier B School, with 1 - 3 years of work experience in HR, in areas of C&B Management/Administration.
- Analytical bent of mind.
- Execution and operational excellence.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and challenging situations.
- Inherent interest in problem solving & statistics.
- Conscientious with a keen eye for details.
- Good verbal / written communication and excellent MS Excel /spreadsheet skills
