(Our brand mandate is to NEVER use the word Sexy).   If we have piqued your interest, then take a look at the more serious and formal criteria you need to come work with us awesome women.  Report to: Chief Executive Officer   The Chief Operating Officer will oversee all the operations within the company on a daily basis to support business growth and implement the marketing and communication strategy to ensure brand equity and fulfil the company's aims of sales, growth and profitability.  Job Responsibilities:  Management:  - Communicate business objectives, plans and policies within the company. Set the tone for the company's relationships with its employees, suppliers, customers through policy statements, management actions and written/verbal communication  - Contribute to the development of the company's vision and mission  - Supervise and ensure that all departments are properly organized, staffed, and directed to fulfil their responsibilities  - Generate all applicable reporting to corporate and assuring compliance with internal policies and procedures   Operations:  - Manage the day to day operations including sales, customer service, marketing and technology.  - Develop key performance metrics to manage the business and regularly review actual performance   - Prepare and review all vendor contracts   - Maintain and oversee compliance with all legal requirements   Financial:  - In consultation with CEO, develop the company's strategic business plan and budgets for presentation to the board   - Recommend revenue and profit goals for each planning period  - Develop and administer overall operating budgets and direct capital expenditures necessary to keep the company competitive  - Identify new and enhance existing processes designed to promote growth, customer service, cost reduction and expense control  - Understand the monthly financial statements and comprehensively explain variances and results   - Report Company's performance versus profit plan goals and recommend corrective actions for underachievement  Marketing:  - Analyze and interpret market research and competition in order to develop marketing and sales responses to gain market share and improve profitability  - In consultation with CEO develop, and implement the company's marketing strategies  - Oversee marketing communication including branding, public relations, advertising and other marketing materials  - Develop and handle marketing budget  - Create and develop strategies for promoting and selling products and services and thereby meet customer's needs and demands   Educational requirements / Skills required:   - Preferably a Degree holder in Business Management with relevant experience in an e-Commerce, Start-up or Retail related discipline  - At least 5 years of working experience, within senior management position, in either an eCommerce business OR start-up environment with proven track records achieving objectives/targets  - Possess strong managerial and leadership skills, interpersonal skills, the ability to coordinate with employees and a high resistance to stress   - Should have strong B2C market knowledge and good vendor management skills   - Self-motivated and able to drive a business and develop a brand from start up
