Position Overview:
The Business Systems Analyst for Planning and Scheduling serves as a business partner and as part of a global team in the Planning and Sourcing functional area to enable business processes through technology in an integrated enterprise systems environment for the purpose of maximizing operational efficiencies.
Key Role and Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for formulating and defining complex information systems scope and objectives through research, analysis, testing and fact-finding combined with a comprehensive understanding of business systems and industry requirements with specific concentration in the planning and scheduling functions of supply chain. Understands current market trends and best practices and formulates propositions to enhance business performance.
Other position expectations include:
- Responsible for evaluating and developing reliable and efficient solutions to fulfill complex business requirements.
- Manage functional projects through the project lifecycle. May manage process area, from design through post-implementation support.
- Responsible for defining system requirements, creating detailed functional specifications, system configuration, unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance, and deployment.
- Completes tasks to meet project deadlines and support pre-established Service Level Agreements.
- Lead Comprehensive Continuous Improvement (CCI) initiatives and appropriately challenges processes to ensure global consistency.
- Generate ideas for IT products and services that provide realistic and tangible business benefit.
- Assists with development of training materials and provide training to power users.

Supports the business and the team for any inquiries including systems support and improvement analysis.
On call rotation to support 24/7 global operations
First level contact for any inquiries including systems support, improvement analyses, and advice.
Scope:
- Incident Management & Change Management - P1/P2 incident resolution, problem and change management in accordance with SLA, achieving Service availability as per the guidelines
- Minimize Business Disruption by proactively monitoring system availability, capacity and resource planning. Perform RCA and corrective action to avoid repetitive incidents
- Project deployment and Enhancements - Deploy T4 application enhancement, supportive responsibility for T1/T2/T3 solution design and deployment in conjunction with Delivery teams
- Prioritize based on Business requirement
- Collaborate with other teams to define technology, drive standardization and simplification.
Experience:
- Deep understanding of the following SAP modules/functions:
SCM Supply Network Planning
CIF
Demand Planning
SCM Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling
General navigation
Configuration and tables for supported module(s)
Knowledge in other SAP supply planning modules a plus
- Basic understanding of ECC Material Management
- Must have participated in the configuration and implementation of at least three SAP Planning and Scheduling projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Local Work Schedule: 11am to 7:30pm IST (Mon to Fri). Employee will have a rotational responsibility between their global team members to provide on-call support responsibilities during business holidays and weekends.
