Business Management & Control - Corporate Finance

We have an opening for Business Management & Control - Corporate Finance in a leading MNC bank.

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive delivery of critical MI and analytics related to revenues, revenue credits, cost, headcount and periodic business reviews.

- Interact with front office personnel to resolve their MI queries and chase them for relevant inputs (e.g. pipeline updates, status of deals for revenue booking, purpose of travel & other spends).

- Support to drive complex and critical regional projects or strategic initiatives managed by the COO team.

- Work with onshore and offshore teams to help identify process improvements.

- Identify non-financial risks (regulatory, conduct and systemic) for Front Office and perform / monitor level 1 controls

- Run various controls including supporting in pro-active management, development/enhance & review of the new / existing controls

- Responsibility for driving/monitoring the risk remediation on key issues and incidents

- Take responsibility for pro-actively developing and enhancing the conduct & control environment working closely with the regional Business Management & Control team, business heads and Divisional Control Office.

Key Requirements :

- Confident to question the status quo business practice / existing control framework

- Strong analytical skills and ability to formulate clearly and present information in a compelling manner

- Deep product knowledge (across Corporate Finance as well as Financial Markets) will be a plus

- Able to work well under pressure and always with a professional demeanor

- Proactive and diligent and able to partner with other teams to resolve issues where necessary

- Self-motivated, and able to identify solutions to issues and accurate with an attention to detail

- Strong influencing and negotiation skills and excellent stakeholder management

- Strong project management skills a plus

- Strong communication skills will be needed to synthesize technical content to senior management
