They started a travel desk as an ancillary offering to their clients and have, over the course of time, identified it as having the potential to be a stand-alone business unit. They are looking to hire a CEO/Head to create and grow this business, with the monetary and resource inputs of the parent company/group.  Job Description  As the CEO of this business, you will be required to drive business operations, while leading a team and working closely with owner/directors to:  - Create and execute a total business plan, in a phased manner  - Establish different operational procedures and create a business rule-book  - Identify the different verticals and platforms for the business to operate in (basis extensive market research inputs)  - Set up the primary (Mumbai – Andheri) and secondary (various states) office locations for the business, including hiring key staff and drawing up the organizational structure  - Drive the sales team (through training and target setting) to achieve and exceed revenue targets identified  The Successful Applicant  You will be an experienced individual with 12+ years in the travels and tours industry (in a mid-sized firm), handling a variety of operational, profit-handling and team management responsibilities. You will be passionate and driven and keen to work in a start-up environment.
