Our client is a growing industrial conglomerate in India in the pharmaceutical industry, spread across 40 + countries.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller , you will be responsible for overseeing the Accounting & Finance function, including ensuring effective day to day accounting operations, financial closing and statutory reporting, cash management, the development and maintenance of Group Accounting policies and reporting guidelines, with compliance to the local statutory reporting standards, liaising with external auditor on specific accounting issues affecting the entire group, providing leadership in development and maintenance of group consolidation system, the timely preparation and credibility of monthly, quarterly and yearly group financial statements for reporting to shareholders, and bank reporting. You will also play an active role in reviewing existing internal controls and business processes as well as recommending and implementing appropriate improvement and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

- You are a CA with 5 years + of rich experience preferably within Pharmaceutical MNCs.

- You have a good knowledge of local statutory reporting, hands on in accounting(IGAAP), good commercial aspect, strategy and compliance requirements.

- You have excellent interpersonal skills and a good knowledge of ERP SAP system as well.
