OPPORTUNITY
Silverskills Private Limited (Silverskills) is looking for a Business Development Manager (BD Manager). The position will be based in Gurgaon but will require frequent and long stay travel to the target geographies.
The candidate will be a part of the Business Development function and will be responsible for developing a healthy sales pipeline and achieving the sales targets.
The position is suited to people who are “sales hungry” and who can exploit their sales skills with effective and successful results.

ROLE
The BD Manager will be responsible for improving Company’s market position and achieving business growth.
He/She will review and understand existing client relationships and will be responsible for supporting the growth of these clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
New Business
- Identify new areas of opportunities in service areas relevant to Silverskills
- Build a sales pipeline based on market research, network management and client references.
- Set up meetings between client’s decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals
- Plan and prepare approaches, pitches and proposals
- Participate in pricing and work order negotiation.
Existing Business
- Obtain complete understanding of client’s business, map current range of services against client requirements and identify
- new range to services that can be offered,
- new offices / locations for whom the existing services can be provided
- Work with process / delivery staff to meet customer needs and delivery challenges
- Participate in internal and external client debriefs
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Experience
- Proven ability to develop, maintain and convert sales pipeline
- Minimum 8-10 years work experience with minimum 3 year’s experience in sales in ITeS sector, preferably in international market(s)
- Strong communication skills, fluent in English
- Strong client management skills
- A positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities
- Ability to cope with competing demands
- Capable of working independently and having responsibility as an individual
Qualification
- Bachelor’s / master’s degree from Indian or foreign university, and
- MBA from one of the Top 20 Indian business schools (or from equivalent foreign business schools)
REMUNERATION
Remuneration comprising of fixed and variable components will be commensurate with the experience, skills and qualifications.
